i was born in chelsea in 1955.. my father was a scots printer called john.  I was baptised roman catholic, but my mother was cruel and i was sent to hammersmith then swansea where i was put up for adoption.  My father who now worked as a printer in cardiff opposed the adoption.  In 1958 i was transferred to cardiff.  My father often visited but in 1961 my mother took me from the home without discharge and i haven't seen my father since.my mother brought me up and physically abused me in cardiff.  She married my stepfather M who was a good man and also protected me from her.  I went to school in rags while my mother spent all the money on bingo.  I was douing well at school but had to leave at 15 years old to work in factories to pay her rent. In 1971 I ran away to london to find my father.  I lived a hostel in camberwell and worked in london.  My first fiancee was a soldier at victoria barracks but he changed when he was sent to northern ireland.
I moved to Exmouth Devon then on to exeter where i married R who was epileptic. We got married in 1973 and our first son graham was born in 1974. We had housing problems  But eventually got a council house in exeter.  Christopher was born in 1977 but ray was getting unwell. in 1978 he died of cancer and bronchopneumonia at the age of 24. i went anorexic but fed my sons and got involved with the wrong men. my sons were abused and i took the wrap because i was scared. i served 5 days in  prison and i had my sons adopted to give them a chance in life. i think they would understand. i went anorexic again and ended up in mental hospital and the drugs to make me put on weight gave me a stroke. the chioldhood epilepsy that i had returned and i became very unwell and disabled.
i married N who was scizo and he broke his knees when he jumped off a bridge. he had affairs with other women and spent all my money and eventually we divorced in 1996 after 13 years marriage. I had a bankrupsy in 1997 but stayed friends with neal.
In 1999 i met M who i married in 2001.he has been helping me find my real father before we both get too old. N would not leave us alone so me and marc slaven moved to west midlands in 2005, to start a new life. we had a few problems at first with car accidents and vandalism but now we have settled down and have two lovely dogs. we are also trying to contact my sons through adoption support and are still looking for my real father.

when my first husband  died i got involved with two men called david and steven. they caused me to adopt my kids. i went slimmers anorexic and ended up in hospital. when i mentioned my maiden name they called me crazy. it was only in 2000 when my then fiance M obtained my birth certificate from  london was i discharged and cleared. but i have never had an apology or compensation. now i have been diagnosed with depression. my doctor  says depression combines with epilepsy to cause moodswings.

my mother put me up for adoption when i was in the childrens homes in the 1950's.why didn't my father protect me from my mothers abuse especially after i left the home to live with mum.i know they had seperated but he could have visited and checked on my welfare and done something about it. why didn't he let me be adopted. the home said he was a good honest man but i wish i had been adopted not to have my health problems caused by my mothers abuse. i have been very depreesed recently and last night i had an episode before having an epileptic fit.i adopted my own sons to let them have a better life.i fed and looked after them but didn't feed and look after myself and i got so ill that i ended up in hospital. by letting my sons be adopted i freed them from the danger in my area and let them have families that could financially and academically support them. my eldest son got a degree and is doing very well now.
the father of my children died of cancer but my second husband who i divorced never intended to honour his vows. for a start his cheque for the registry office bounced. i am asking the roman catholic church to annul my second marriage and when we have competed an rc confirmation course my 3rd husband and me can bless our vows in roman catholic church.

as well as the abuse i took from my mother i was well brought up. i am a good roman catholic, practising again. i pray every day, go to mass and went to midnight mass. i am having my second marriage annulled which will take 3 years. i give to charities regularly and have been doing children in need for ten years running. i buy my clothes from charity shops and i pay all my debts. i am very forgiving and don't believe in grudges. i also say my own hail marys on saturdays.
i was worried about my mum before christmas as she is no longer living at her old adress. although my brother is still next door. but we have checked cardiff hospital and she has not been admitted nor died  i think she has emigrated to spain as she always dreamed.
my dream is that mum and my real dad make amends and it would be great if they could remarry.

i have been researching the kennedy (gaelic cenedeich) clan. mackennedys were scottish noblemen and ambassadors from mary stuart back to king macbeth of alba.king john of alba who lost his crown to robert the bruce was related to kennedys. scottish kennedys originated in galloway where they had moved from ireland. kennedys in county clair and tipperary were related to brian o 'boru, high king of ireland in the 10th century. but kennedys are mentioned fighting the romans with the graham clan in scotland. the romans built graham's dyke at this time.
i am now a practising roman catholic again as i have been confirmed on the easter vigil (saturday night) and i have taken my first holy communion for many years. i go to confession every month. my husband has also been baptised roman catholic.

jessica kennedy has been told recently by doctors that she has angina and a recent mri scan showed that she has had (TIA's)mini strokes. but she has been cheered up by true movies contacting her with the news that some magazines are interested in her true life story. she wants to show other women how to survive similar situations and keep their head on their shoulders. she also wants her father and family to see the story. hopefully also her sons will see it and get back in touch with eachother and with herself.

jessica kennedy has found her older brother recently on the internet.we have been down to worcester to see him, and his daughter and grandchildren.
it was a great relief as recently she nearly had a nervous breakdown when a neighbour eddie, who also claims to have been a middleweight boxing champion, claimed to be her older brother. he is permanantly drunk and we have not spoken to him since.
although jessie has lost weight and even now is just touching eight stones.

my deprived life has left me with a host of health problems.not only do i have epilepsy, depression and asthma and recovered from pre-cancer of the cervix. i have hypertension, and digestion problems. i have to eat a gluten free diet. now i have been diagnosed with spondylitis(weak spinal ligaments) and a private scan has shown that i have only 65% of the bone strength normal for my age.i have a t-number of -3.4 meaning i have the beginnings of osteoporosis.
i have some good news. i have found my brother tony and his children and grandchildren in the west midlands and i see them a lot.

Honestly no need to thank me we all should be thanking you for sharing so much of your life with all of us here. You truly have been through so much and when I read this thread some weeks back it really brought a tear to my eye. You could write a book or something like that. Your story is like something I could imagine seeing on TM or something out of a Danielle Steel novel.

hi, i am intending to write a book. this week i recieved copies of my hospital notes under the freedom of information act. when i was first admitted in 1980 i had traces of amphetamines in my urine sample. my coffee in my lodgings had been spiked. i talked to the nurse about my grandfather being shot by germans in ww2 and they thought i meant jfk was assassinated by germans.but my social workers notes were also useful. my appeal against my conviction was successful and my sons could have been just fostered. but it was my initiative to have them adopted to get them away from danger and to have a good start in life because i had no settled home. exeter did not even diagnose my epilepsy until 1984 and they did not treat me for amphetamines or my stroke. my blood pressure was 160/90 (pulse 100) at the age of 24 years old. i might sue for compensation.
